Vanessa Haley – President

Vanessa is a 20 year resident of Smyrna, where she lives with her husband, Jeremy and son, Dalton. She is a graduate of McGavock High  School and Tennessee Tech @ Nashville, Esthetics Program, and Aesthetician at Daisy’s Place Salon. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for S.i.M.A., you’ll also find her serving in the World Cup Cafe at Life Point Church, benefiting missionaries around the world.

HG Cole – External Vice President

H. G. is forty-five year resident of Smyrna having moved here at the age of six. He attended Smyrna High School and MTSU. He has served on the Smyrna Town Council for fifteen years, first as Commissioner of Parks and Recreation for seven years and as a councilman under the new form of government. He has served over the years as a board member of the Smyrna Senior Citizens, the Boys and Girls Club of Rutherford CountyNorth Rutherford Soccer, and trustee of the Sam Davis Home. H. G. was awarded the Optimist of the Year award in 1986 and the Victory Lifetime achievement award in 2004. He is a member of the Smyrna Rotary Club and Proud Charter Member of SiMA. His hobbies include family, community service, soccer, travel, and home remodel.H. G. is owner operator of LubePro’s of Smyrna, which will celebrate twenty years of service to the Smyrna community in 2010. Prior to LubePro’s, H. G. was manager of Smyrna Rexall Drugs where the values of the independent business (service, promptness and responsibility) were instilled in him by his parents. He is the proud father of Hank, married to Crystal Cole and Heather, married to Declan MeGarry.

Brice
Brice Jennings– Internal Vice President
Mr. Jennings received a BBA degree and an MBA in finance from Middle Tennessee State University. Before he founded Jennings Investment Group, Inc. and became Chief Investment Officer in 2011, Mr. Jennings worked as a Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch in 1996. After leaving Merrill, he served as Director of Investments at Franklin Industries where he founded the company’s investment management division, Franklin Investment Group. When the company was acquired in 2006, Mr. Jennings established Jennings Investment Group, LLC, where he managed equity and derivative portfolios for high net-worth individuals. During this time, he also created the SuperBull Fund, LP, a leveraged equity hedge fund. Mr. Jennings has been Certified in Financial Management and a Certified Management Accountant through the Institute of Management Accountants as well a Certified Cash Manager and Certified Financial Manager through the Merrill Lynch School of Advanced Financial Management. He has served as a director on various boards including, New Constructs, Friends of Bark Springs, and served as Chairman for the Town of Smyrna Beer Board. Currently, Mr. Jennings is serving Smyrna as a member of the Municipal Planning Commission. He and his wife Molly moved to Smyrna sixteen years ago, shortly after they were married, and have been proud to call it home ever since.

Kedric Rutz – Treasurer

Kedric Rutz moved to Smyrna in 2004, the result of LP Building Products moving their company headquarters to the area. He spent the first 46 years of his life in the Pacific Northwest working in aviation where he became a Business Jet Captain. In Oregon, he served his community running air operations for the Oregon International Air Show, a non-profit organization that gives back to the community. Once established in Smyrna he begin serving his community in air operations for the Great Tennessee Air Show. As he fell in love with the town, he joined the Rotary Club of Smyrna and presently serves on the board of directors. He delivers Meals on Wheels weekly and is a TN Achieves mentor. Kedric is a happily married man to his wonderful wife Kim, father to 3 successful adult daughters, and grandfather to 3 grandchildren. Retired since 2009, his goal is to improve the community through support of various organizations, like SIMA, that work to make this place the best it can be.

Jason Toleson - Public Relations Director

Jason Tolleson – Public Relations Director

Jason Tolleson and his family have resided in Smyrna for well over 30 years. He attended both Smyrna High School, as well as Middle Tennessee State University where he studied Engineering and Business. Jason has owned and operated several businesses in the Smyrna Community. He is currently the Senior Commercial Sales Representative for Guardian Systems Inc. , which is a local business that he helped establish in 2000. Guardian Systems is an integration company that specializes in residential and commercial security, electronic fire systems, CCTV, low voltage cabling, and audio video systems.

Jamonn is the co-founder of AlgerRidge Technologies (www.aridgetech.com) and FeedBacc (www.feedbacc.com).  FeedBacc is a software service that helps businesses get higher volume and quality responses to survey questions about their business from customers, employees, donors, investors, etc.  Jamonn is also very active in the local soccer community as a player, parent and coach.

Amanda Johnstone – Director of Operations
Amanda Johnstone moved to Smyrna as a senior in high school and has been in love with Smyrna since. She has 2 children and 3 step children with her husband Mark. Amanda graduated from Antioch High School and is a stay at home mother as well as working with SiMA. She is a member at LifePoint Church where she serves with the youth group. She loves to plan events and enjoys seeing the success and growth of SiMA’s Depot Days. She is also a proud member of the Smyrna Rotary Club where she is serving on the board of directors.
